it's really detailed, i love how the focus is on the water droplets and you can see the detail in the petal. if you didn't say it was a rose it might be a little hard to tell (depending on the person) so maybe next time put a little bit more focus on the flower so it's easier to tell. i rated a bit lower in originality because there are a lot of flower pictures in the world, which is normal because flowers are something in nature that are beautiful and it's hard to be original when it comes to flowers. all in all, i love it. (:

It looks like the bokeh from a tilt and shift lens, that band of in-focus elements across the subject, its really cool. I'm not familiar with the powershot S2, do you add some blur in post-processing? Its wonderfully done no matter how you do it.. just lovely

I used super-macro mode and let the rose stay away from the background object, so things will get soft. This pic I just change the color a little bit to make it more pop out ^^ Thank you
